A green grumpy monster is determined to keep his collection of toys neat on a shelf whilst an oblivious baby monster persistently attempts to play with them. She must return home, but not before she helps her friends - the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and new-brave Lion - defeat Urfin. And in order to do that, they need to find out who he really is.

The Night had her birthday, and gave a party to which she invited Dima, a little boy so afraid of the dark that he could never sleep when the light was out.
