The documentary "Solving the Bonnet Problem" follows the work of three mathematicians as they collaborate to solve a long-standing geometrical problem proposed by Pierre Ossian-Bonnet. Alongside their work, the film explores the lives and contributions of Bonnet and his contemporary Gaston Darboux, as well as the history of French mathematics in the 19th century. Captivating computer graphics help unravel intricate concepts and make them accessible to all.

Shows how Jim and Bob use protractor and ruler to study such figures as rectangles, triangles and circles, and such principles as congruence, similarity and symmetry, in constructing a model porch.

Until recently geometry was 'cold', incapable of describing the irregular shape of a cloud, the slope of a mountain or the beauty of the human body. With fractal geometry, Benoit Mandelbrot gave us a language for our natural world. In this captivating documentary, the man himself explains this groundbreaking discovery.

The life of the Nobel Prize-winning mathematician and schizophrenic John Nash — the inspiration for the feature film A Beautiful Mind — is a powerful exploration of how genius and madness can become intertwined.

As a rising star in the field of abstract mathematics, Michael discovered that he could see beauty and pattern where others could not. But his path was not to be inside academia, or even inside society. He went on a grand adventure to unify his Buddhism with his ability to see an expanded view of reality. He created beauty in a place where nobody else would, and made his friends amongst dolphins.

A film about art, mathematics, friendship, and social deprivation. Bertil lives in a decommissioned railway station in Skåne. He is internationally renowned, with monumental works displayed across Sweden, yet to gather the courage to walk to the local grocery store he needs a few glasses of wine under his belt. He is powerful, imaginative, humorous, and a resourceful storyteller. He jokes and performs for those around him whenever the opportunity arises. His sculptures are geometrically and mathematically calculated, and his tools are meticulously organized — but his life can be chaotic. One day, something happens: Bertil’s sculptures have disappeared.

Andrew Wiles stumbled across the world's greatest mathematical puzzle, Fermat's Theorem, as a ten-year-old schoolboy, beginning a 30-year quest with just one goal in mind: to solve the problem that has baffled minds for three centuries.

Nowadays we associate Johannes Kepler with his famous laws of planetary motion. But the history of his discoveries is a drama of Shakespearian proportions - full of intrigue, passion, depravity and corruption.
