Talman is seen as gunslinger Matt Bonham and his twin brother, preacher Mark Bonham. Impressed by Bonham's courage, the townsfolk begin to follow the straight and narrow path.

William Shatner plays two roles: cowboy Johnny Moon and his ruthless Indian twin brother, Notah. Moon, estranged from his brother, decides to stop Notah either by words or by bullets.
