A determined young boy living in a small village strives to obtain enough money to purchase a ticket to the cinema.

Luz, a determined teenage immigrant, resides in a modest Queens apartment with her parents, Marta and Alejandro. Devoted to her studies, she firmly believes that true talent amounts to nothing without hard work and the fulfillment of untapped potential. Her daily routine follows a well-structured pattern: wake up, attend school, return home, complete homework, practice the flute, have dinner, and sleep, only to repeat the same sequence the next day. However, today stands out as an exception-a revelation awaits Luz, unraveling the carefully concealed secret her parents have intentionally hidden.

Four best friends (Tibby, Lena, Carmen & Bridget) who buy a mysterious pair of pants that fits each of them, despite their differing sizes, and makes whoever wears them feel fabulous. When faced with the prospect of spending their first summer apart, the pals decide they'll swap the pants so that each girl in turn can enjoy the magic.

Accio and Manrico are siblings from a working-class family in 1960s Italy: older Manrico is handsome, charismatic, and loved by all, while younger Accio is sulky, hot-headed, and treats life as a battleground — much to his parents' chagrin. After the former is drawn into left-wing politics, Accio joins the fascists out of spite, but his flimsy beliefs are put to test when he falls for Manrico's like-minded girlfriend.

A 14 year-old girl builds herself a best friend to cope with the mounting pressures of adolescence.

The enterprising Anton Klapproth runs a flying duck farm in the Eifel, but now he finally wants to experience a real adventure in the big city of Cologne. A visit to a sanatorium for the mentally ill seems particularly sensational to him, as there is certainly a lot going on there with the "Jecken" and would provide plenty of story material for his regulars' table. In return for a loan, Anton's nephew allows his uncle to stay at the Pension Schöller. However, the guests there are by no means mentally ill, just rather eccentric. However, the unsuspecting Anton has a great time, thinking he is in a psychiatric institution.

When the sky really is falling and sanity has flown the coop, who will rise to save the day? Together with his hysterical band of misfit friends, Chicken Little must hatch a plan to save the planet from alien invasion and prove that the world's biggest hero is a little chicken.
