Between supermarket aisles, construction scaffolding and exposed concrete, different versions begin to overlap. Repetitions appear like echoes between worlds, both playful and eerie.

The kiss of betrayal and the imprisonment of Christ before the scene of the third chapel. In the fourth, two scenes are gathered: the coronation and the flagellation. On the fifth, the Christ bears the cross and the crucifixion is featured in the sixth chapel. The twelve apostles of Aleijadinho and the Latin inscriptions of each one. The interior of the Basilica and its main altar, with the figure of the Lord Dead.

Dresden is famous for its attempt to meticulously reconstruct its once bombed-out historical center and bring the colorful baroque settings of the 18th century back to life. It’s infamous for the right-wing-surge that has since 2015 swept the city and made it a center of far-right activity in Germany and Europe. This film is an exploration of where the two intersect.

Documentary about the life and work of the architect Paulo Mendes da Rocha, told by him in prominence for Joana, his daughter. With more than 80 years of age, Paulo Mendes is today one of the most important and renowned architects in the world, but, above all, he is a thinker who has controversial ideas and opinions about urbanism, nature, humanity, art and technique deserve to be heard. In a constant dialogue between interviewee / father and interviewer / daughter, Joana is the guiding thread of the film. As in all personal relationships, especially between parents and children, the thread that leads is also that which is conducted.

Since he was 18 years old, Blake Eckard has written and directed six feature length films in his hometown of Stanberry, Missouri (population 1186). Aside from a short distribution deal in Canada and a few festival screenings, his movies have largely gone unseen.
