Heinz, an honest taxi-driver, believes in his innocence and helps him - until Willy kills another man in a robbery. Heinz feels responsible for his brother and trails him, which makes it look to the police as if he's helping his brother.

Due to a lack of money, Hamburg pub owner Jonny Jensen brings two partners on board. St. Pauli, the place of unrestrained exuberance, but also of the strangest crimes: Here - as in almost no other place on the continent - you will find rich and poor, high and low. Here you meet the greats of the world as well as those who shy away from the light. This movie will interest many people who are from the big city, and even more so those who are not yet familiar with the dangers of the big city. Everyone should watch this program, which was produced with the participation and cooperation of the Hamburg security and port police, in order to be more careful in big cities.

It is about brawls, prostitution, a prison escapee, murder and manslaughter. The film wants to be documentary, the director himself appears as moderator and interviewer.
