As a last resort human is relying on faith to find the balance. Is faith the last defense of man or is this world guided by forces greater than us? The Water Map is an essayistic journey through the ethnography and landscapes of the Region of Murcia. These places are in the process of disappearing due to the increasing and abundant agricultural exploitation. Water has marked the territory and the culture of the area, and with its disappearance, the memories of four characters fade away.

It shares various scenarios involving children using power tools, chemicals, and playground equipment, highlighting risks such as improper use of electric cords, unsafe play habits, and the dangers of firearms. The film also provides safety tips for outdoor activities like hiking and camping, stressing the need for caution around potentially hazardous elements like poisonous plants and proper gun handling. The overarching message is to always prioritize safety to prevent accidents while enjoying recreation.

In the familiar surroundings of their everyday lives, they talk about things that matter to them, about experiences that move them, about first love and loss, hopes and fears. 13 adolescents from a school in Donbass which was destroyed during the war in Ukraine, and subsequently rebuilt, share themselves in front of the camera. 13 lives inhabiting an intermediary space, both emotionally and socially.
