The life, the problems, the hopes of the ragazzi of the suburbs of Rome. They are at the center of "Ragazzi di vita", the first novel by Pier Paolo Pasolini, author of the text of this documentary.

Den eviga staden is Vilhelm Jegerhjelm's debut film. A city portrait that follows the city from dusk to dawn. The people are the city's blood cells. Parts of a seemingly eternal cycle.

A quartet of refined elderly ladies gets together for coffee. Neatly dressed in houndstooth and pearls, they sip from elegant china and nibble on sweet cakes while discussing Viagra, cock rings, orgasms and quickies.
