An attempt at an unboxing video leads to self-reflection.

Set in the near future, a student accidentally discovers old photographs of the same stretch of beach taken by school students over the past 65 years. The temporal distance between the old photos and the protagonist immediately creates a sense of disorientation. In a sort of time loop, we witness successive generations, all drawn to the same thematic focal point.

Have you ever seen something on the internet that you just couldn't explain? Maybe it was posted yesterday, maybe it was posted 10 years ago. Either way, you just couldn't seem to get it out of your mind? A scam artist takes real missing person cases and distorts them to fit his science-fiction narrative. A group of young filmmakers encounter real zombies while filming a horror movie of their own.

A new father takes his wife and daughter on a journey to his mother’s birthplace in Scotland. It is 1976 – the year in which NASA’s Viking 1 and 2 space probes land on the surface of Mars. They send images of an only vaguely explored area from a great distance, enabling a first look into the history of an alien planet. Guillermo travels to the countryside to take care of Héctor, his sick father for three nights. Upon his arrival, Guillermo finds that Héctor's condition changes at night, in which, in turn, something coming from the sky seems to approach.

Jerusalem is the first of four videos (followed by Sublimation [2003], Conjunction [2003] and The Pearl [2004]) exploring inter-dimensional travel. In this inaugural episode a group of young actors inhabit an empty apartment, their behavior taped and edited in-camera. An analog solarization technique captures their rituals of improvised dance, frozen poses and trimming of hair. Each cast member recounts painful personal life episodes that unfold like cheap sci-fi stories of otherworldly abductions, familial vanishings, strange dreams and reptilian passions.

Humouristic reconstruction of the 1995 scandal when two British lads were accused of having faked a documentary from the Roswell incident in 1947.

A social work grad student’s film project on L.A. homelessness becomes something quite other when she and her friends encounter a man claiming to be from another time and place.
